Seriously, this obsession with being unnaturally thin, starving yourself, abusing your body in the name of beauty has to stop. With eating disorders rampent among women and deaths due to slimming pills, this insanity has to end. Yes, I've read of cases of liver failure due to ephedra in some slimming pills in the past. No doubt that substance has since been banned, who knows what other lethal side effects may be discovered in other slimming pills when it is too late?

Thankfully some romance writers have wised up. Not all romance novels have heroines that might trigger off eating disorders. These page turners have heroines that aren't bean poles with boobs.

This is the first book in the highly addictive department 57 series. I've read every book in this series and am waiting for the release of the next book. Every book has surprising twists, moving moments and engaging characters that keep the readers enthralled. This one is a shapeshifter paranormal romance / thriller with an delectable hero and a strong heroine who is definitely no twig.

Not out yet but you can preorder it. She has written lots of great books that sell out very very quickly. I know as I bought her books one at a time. When I was hooked and went back to get the next on the list, it was GONE. Sold out, but available used at ebay for several hundred dollars which was more than what I could afford to pay.

I've read every book by Shelly Laurenston I could get my hands on and which I did not have to pay black market prices for. They were so good, I signed up at her newsgroup to keep tabs on new releases and re-releases of her previous books which I had missed.
